Ensemble Penta Musica was founded in October 2002. Since its founding, the group’s achievement includes admission to the "Yehudi-Menuhin-Foundation Austria" and scholarships from the Gottfried-Von-Einem Music Private Foundation, the Herbert-von-Karajan-Centrum Vienna (2003) and the Irene Boleszny scholarship.


In 2004, the quintet received a special award as the best woodwind quintet at the music competition "Gradus ad Parnassum", which is the biggest music competition in Austria. Besides they were invited to perform in the program of “Jeunesse Agency – Musikalische Jugend Österreich”.


The Ensemble Penta Musica was appointed musical ambassador of the Austrian government in 2005 and recorded the first CD with the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF).

Penta Musica toured throughout Europe, Asia and South America, and was invited to perform in renowned  festivals like Festival Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Nafplion Festival, Festival de Música de Morelia and in famous concert halls such as the Philharmonie in Berlin, Vienna Musikverein, and International Foundation Mozarteum Salzburg.

The ensemble is supported by Walter Blovsky, Alois Brandhofer, Richard Galler Günther Passin, Hansjörg Schellenberger, Stefan Schilli, Milan Turkovic and Radovan Vlatkovic.
